Tralee Printing Is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead our production processes and drive business growth during an exciting expansion phase. This role is suited for a seasoned professional with at least three years of direct experience in printing or packaging (packaging preferred). Candidates without this experience will not be considered.

Tralee Printing is an SRA1 Print House with full finishing in house. We are one of Ireland’s oldest printing houses and have recently upgraded our packaging lines to a state of the art equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight: Manage end-to-end printing and packaging operations, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery while optimizing workflows and reducing waste.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Oversee ordering, forecasting, and supplier relations, maintaining cost-efficient and optimal inventory levels.
- MIS Software: Leverage tools like Print Logic to monitor production, track inventory, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and manage production staff to foster a safe, high-performance culture.
- Client & Business Development: Act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and driving growth. Direct sales and account-closing experience is advantageous.
- Strategic Reporting: Assist with budgeting, cost analysis, and long-term planning to align operations with business goals.
Requirements:
- Industry Expertise: Minimum of 3 years in printing or packaging (essential).
- Sales & Marketing: Experience in direct sales and closing accounts is a strong advantage.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and meet KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
- Book of Business: Existing client connections in the industry are desirable.
